For the past few years, friends have been asking if I would teach them how to create with clay. After hearing that interest repeated, I opened my studio to small group handbuilding classes—and it has been such a natural and joyful step. As a PT, Aikido practitioner and teacher I realized that I always loved teaching with patience and encouragement.

In the peaceful rhythm of the studio, these gatherings have become something special. They are intimate, relaxed, and rooted in exploration and fun! Each piece is shaped by hand, embracing the imperfections that exist in life and clay.

It has been a joy to watch students grow—learning new techniques, finding their creative voices, and creating pieces that are both functional and personal. We are having a lot of fun, and the work coming out of these classes is expressive and wonderful.

If you feel drawn to working with your hands, to slowing down and shaping something meaningful, I would love to welcome you into the studio.
